Andrey Lunev and Maxim Kolesnikov discussed the free legal aid in Russia
In the new issue of the programme "Law"with the host - managing partner of Princeps Consulting Group - Andrey Lunev, the issue of legal aid in Russia, and in Volgograd in particular was discussed. The guest of the programme is the Head of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the Volgograd region, Maxim Kolesnikov. Maxim told about the work being done in the region in this area, shared the experience of the Regional Office providing free legal assistance and, most importantly, provided the information where you can get this kind of assistance in the region, and what categories of people are able to use it.
"The right of citizens of the Russian Federation to receive qualified legal assistance, including free aid is stated in the Constitution. Therefore, regardless of income, everyone should have access to legal information,and to legal aid. This question is regulated at different times by different acts. Please note that in 2011, the systematic law was adopted "On free legal aid in Russia." However, in our region, in the Volgograd region, a lot of attention was given to providing such assistance even much earlier, "- M.Kolesnikov claimed.
